Invest in the future of your library and become a member of Building a Legacy by making an estate commitment or life-income arrangement to benefit the Hinsdale Public Library through the Hinsdale Public Library Foundation. Through membership in this special group, the Foundation is able to recognize you during your lifetime. We are pleased to invite you to join Building a Legacy. Membership is extended to individuals who make one of the following commitments to the Foundation:

Include the Hinsdale Public Library Foundation in their estate plans

Create a charitable life-income arrangement (a charitable gift annuity, a charitable remainder trust or pooled income fund gift) or a charitable lead trust to benefit the Library through the Hinsdale Public Library Foundation

Name the Hinsdale Public Library Foundation as a beneficiary of retirement assets or life insurance

Donate a personal residence or a vacation home to the Hinsdale Public Library Foundation and reserve a life estate.

Members of Building a Legacy receive a Certificate of Membership along with a special memento. We are also proud to recognize our members in an annual Honor Roll. In addition, Building a Legacy Members will be invited to exclusive Foundation events.
