The Hinsdale Public Library Foundation is facilitating a new service for our enthusiastic and interested patrons of the Astronomy Night program and indeed the Hinsdale Public Library at large - TELESCOPE CHECK-OUT!  We are now implementing the opportunity to check-out a telescope for a 1,2 or 3 night use! You will have your choice of 3 different size telescopes - small 4 1/2", medium 6", or large 8".  Also included are 3 eyepieces, a carrying bag, and a star map  for your use.  These Orion "Dobsonian" telescopes are extremely sturdy, easy to use, and are commonly used by many adults, children, planetarium outreach, and even a children's astronomy camp.

Orientation classes will commence in February.
