Film Society

The HPL Foundation’s Film Society invites you to join them for their movies and discussion series. No registration is required.

The Hinsdale Public Library Foundation Film Society gathers to watch films that are generally a little out of the movie mainstream - films that might have passed through Chicago too quickly at theatres such as the Landmark or Piper’s Alley. The emphasis is on films that have some unusual aspect to them – artistic merit, provocative story line, unusual character development, social relevance, or potential historical significance. If you like watching and talking about stimulating movies please do join in. You will be most welcome.
