What if I prefer to make a gift of cash?

The Hinsdale Public Library Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization. Consequently contributions are tax deductible. For deductions to be documented a canceled check may be required in addition to a receipt from the Hinsdale Public Library Foundation. Therefore we suggest that a donor pay by check to satisfy that record requirement.
